How to fix Call of Duty error code Vivacious

Fix those issues so you can have a day ruined by kids online!

Surprise PlayStation 4 Call of Duty Modern Warfare Alpha Announced At Gamescom

You log in and immediately, you’re met with the gross error code preventing you from stomping some folks (getting stomped by folks) online in your favourite game (rage quit inducing) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The error code Vivacious is actually really easy to fix and basically involves you restarting your console.

1

Restart your console

Often when a server hits issues, the game will just assume the issues are persisting or needs a jolt to get it going again. This means closing the application down or restarting the console, but choosing to restart is just a nice catch-all to have.

On PlayStation, press and hold the home button down until you get your menu to pop up and navigate to the power options, choosing restart.

On Xbox, press and hold your home button and again, restart the console via the various power options that appear.

That or just get up off your seat and press the power buttons, if I’m honest, on PS5 this is literally the quickest way to deal with things as they’ve only gone and changed the menu again.

Restart your router

There’s really not much else to it. If you wanted to go a step further if the issue is persisting, just go check on the Call of Duty server status on Twitter or restart your router.

To properly restart your router, unplug it and leave it for a whole minute. Yes, a minute. You can do it, survive this and you can survive anything.

Once you’ve done that, plug it back in, restart your console and try your game again. You’ll find it all in working order.

If the issue persists, the servers on their end are struggling, so don’t fret.
