Call of Duty Warzone is one of the most popular Battle Royale games nowadays, but can you play it on Oculus Quest?

Warzone is available on many consoles, such as PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game truly feels immersive with its amazing sound design, graphics, and much more.

But it could feel much more immersive if you could play the game on some VR headset, such as the Oculus Quest 2.

Cutting right to the chase, Warzone is not available on the Oculus Quest 2. Unfortunately, the game isn’t available on any VR platform, including Oculus Quest 2.

It is likely due to the fact that Activision has likely not figured out a way to incorporate VR into the mix, especially with the other consoles. Developers need to consider many different mechanics when making a VR game, making it not an easy task.

And the fact that the VR market is still quite niche and not as mainstream, especially for competitive online games, there’s a chance that Activision didn’t even consider VR as an option for Call of Duty: Warzone. 

Will COD Warzone come to Oculus Quest 2?

So, we know that Warzone is not on VR or the Oculus Quest 2, but then that brings up the question of whether the game will ever come on Oculus Quest 2.

Activision has not yet shared any plans to develop Warzone for Oculus Quest 2 or any other VR headset. And considering Activision announced Warzone 2.0 recently, there were no mentions of VR in the announcement either. They’ve added a new map, different weapons, a better engine, and much more. However, the platforms remain the same as they did for Warzone. 

Besides just announcements, we can usually rely on rumors and leaks to give us this information. But unfortunately, there’s nothing that hints towards Warzone on VR or Oculus Quest 2 as of yet. However, it seems like the game accompanying Warzone, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, might have some elements of VR.

Other Call of Duty Games on VR

And surprisingly, there might be a chance that COD Modern Warfare 2 will be available for VR. When pre-order details of the games were leaked, there was a VR Warning notice inside the leaks, suggesting that the game might be coming to VR as well.

But that is the current situation of Warzone and Oculus Quest 2 and the VR world in general. Not yet, but sometime in the future, VR might get popular and deliver some of the best games we’d ever experience!
