Want to  know how to catch Mesprit in Pokémon Go? We’ll walk you through it! The Lake Trio Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie have taken over the Legendary Raids.

Each of the Psychic legendaries can be found in different parts of the world. The Americas, Europe, the Pacific, Asia will all be spotting their own Lake trio member, but sadly unless players and invited to a remote raid, they won’t be able to get all three.

Where is Mesprit in Pokémon Go?

Mesprit is only appearing in raids in Europe, The Middle East, Africa and India for now. If you aren’t in any of these areas but know someone who is, they can invite you to raid with them, so reach out to anyone who might be able to help. To accept an invite to a remote Raid, though, remember you will need a spare Remote Raid Pass.

The Lake Trio are currently available until October 1st as part of Pokémon Go’s Season Of Mischief, which doesn’t end until December. What this means is that we could see the Lake Trio finally rotate around the globe during the Season, but this has not been confirmed and, historically, the Lake Trio have been kept to their unique regions.

The small pink emotion Pokémon will only be available to players in Europe, the Middle East, African and India. So if you’re out of those regions, you’ll need a raid invite from a player in that region.

Mesprit Counters in Pokémon Go

Once you’re ready to go up against Mesprit, here’s how to beat it!

Recommended Players: Mesprit can be duoed but it’ll be very hard. It’s recommended to have three or four other players take on Mesprit.

Best Party:

Here’s some of the top picks to go against Mesprit and their ideal moves. But of course, you can only have one mega at a time, so consider which one first!

  • Mega Gengar (Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball)
  • Mega Houndoom (Snarl, Foul Play)*
  • Shadow Tyranitar (Bite, Crunch)
  • Shadow Mewtwo (Psycho Cut, Shadow Ball)
  • Mega Gyarados (Bite, Crunch)*
  • Darkrai (Snarl, Shadow Ball)
  • Shadow Houndoom (Snarl, Foul Play)
  • Shadow Weavile (Snarl, Foul Play)
  • Chandelure (Hex, Shadow Ball)
  • Giratina Origin Forme (Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball)

Shiny Mesprit in Pokémon Go

Mesprit Shiny

If you’re hoping to catch a shiny Mesprit, then consider this:

  • The Shiny rate from Legendary raids is around 1 in 20.

That might seem easy enough, but of course it’s not that easy. The trade-off is, of course, legendary Pokémon have limited accessibility. Trainers can only raid one a day, it requires several people to beat Tier 5 Raids, and even with multiple teammates, it’s difficult to take down Tier 5 Raid bosses consistently.
