How the Clash Royale Chest Cycle decides upcoming Chests

There are a huge variety of Chest types in Clash Royale, but all of them are an important way of earning Gold, Gems and Cards throughout your tower-toppling, card-collecting Clash Royale experience.
What are Clash Royale Chests?
As mentioned above, Chests will give you items that will be crucial to your Clash Royale Gameplay. They come in a variety of different rarities, and the rarer the Chest, the less frequently you’ll receive that Chest type.
Because the items are so important to gameplay, and aren’t just cosmetic, every player will receive Chests in the same order, rather than random allocation. However, there is some RNG involved in Chests as, while the type of item and quantity of rewards in each Chest remains the same, your Cards and Wild Cards will be random. This will be decided as soon as the Chest opens, rather than when you earn it, so in some cases it might be better to wait until you level up to Unlock.
How to earn and open Chests in Clash Royale
Chests are awarded to players for winning battles and for progressing through free, paid and premium tracks in the Pass Royale. You will only receive your next Chest if you have a free Chest slot, if you don’t, you won’t skip the next Chest, you’ll just have to wait until your next win.
In order to obtain Chest rewards, you will need to Unlock it first, which is a process completed over time. Once a chest is in one of your four Chest slots, the time will start to count down to Unlock completion. Unlock can be sped up or skipped altogether using boosters, Gems or Keys. If you have the paid Pass Royale, you can queue Chests up so that, when your timer completes and your Chest unlocks, another will be placed immediately in its slot. This means you won’t waste any time when you could be unlocking a chest.
What is the Clash Royale Chest Cycle
The Chest Cycle is the order in which Chests are awarded to players. This is an invisible list of Chests for each King Level, so you won’t be able to see which the next Chest is within Clash Royale itself. However, there is a way to find out what your upcoming Clash Royale chests are, so if you’re happy with them being a surprise, don’t read the last paragraph!
If you do want to keep it a surprise, you might still like to know the frequency at which certain Chests will be awarded to you. Well, during King Levels 10 and below, you’ll never receive more than four Silver Chests in a row. This means that every fifth Chest, or less, will be a Golden Chest, a Giant Chest or a Magical Chest, as these are the only Chests available at these levels. If you earn every Chest at this level, you will end up with 180 Silver Chests, 52 Golden Chests, four Giant Chests and four Magical Chests.
In KL 11 and above, you will also start earning Gold crates. Earning every Chests and Crate at KL 11 will earn you 168 Silver Chests, 50 Golden Crates, four Giant Chests, four Magical Chests, and four of each Gold Crate (Normal, Plentiful and Overflowing).
In KL 12, you will have the chance to earn 162 Silver Chests, 47 Golden Chests, four Giant Chests, four Magical Chests, seven Gold Crates, five Plentiful Crates and three Overflowing Crates.
The Special Chests are available through progressing through the Pass Royale. They are also available through battle wins, but on a separate Cycle to the above.
