Call of Duty 2023 is one of the most anticipated games in the gaming industry right now. Fans of the franchise have eagerly awaited any news on what the newest edition to the series will bring. Luckily, Inside Gaming’s sources have let a big detail slip.

It seems that Call of Duty 2023 will bring back a fan-favorite mode that players have been asking for.

Call of Duty 2023 Zombies mode

Insider Gaming sources have leaked that Call of Duty 2023 will have a Zombies mode, which will be available on launch day. Zombies mode details are sparse, but sources indicate that it will not be round-based but instead will be different.

This obviously has alarm bells ringing for those who do not like it when Activision changes things about this mode, but it could be a good thing. The Zombies mode has been a staple in the Call of Duty franchise for years, and its inclusion in Call of Duty 2023 is sure to excite fans.

There have been several other Call of Duty titles that have featured the mode since World at War, including Black Ops and Cold War. Arguably, the most recognizable one is that from the original Black Ops, where John F. Kennedy teams up with Richard Nixon, Robert McNamara, and Fidel Castro.

When will Call of Duty 2023 be announced?

The rumor that Zombies mode will be included comes with other news: an announcement date. Apparently, we should hear an official announcement from Activision in August about a release in November in 2024. All rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, but it appears like many places are agreeing that this November 10, 2023 release has some weight to it.

We’ll have to wait until later in the year to hear any more about Zombies mode and a release date but we are definitely eager for more news.
