Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course is finally out, a long five years after the release of the base game. To the delight of fans, The Delicious Last Course is a fantastic and brilliant addition to the game. It adds the new playable character, Legendary Chalice, and a number of new abilities and perks. But you can’t get these unless you have the gold for it. As with the base game, you’ll be pleased to know there is a The Delicious Last Course Hidden Coin.

Although the DLC has a new alternative to the base game’s Run & Gun levels, where you’ll be awarded coins for completing the King’s challenges – a series of genuinely fun and challenging little mini-bosses that focus on parrying – these are the only main ways of accumulating coin in the game. Or, you can get at least one fairly easily – The Delicious Last Course Hidden Coin.

To find the secret coin, you need to go to the graveyard. You can only reach the graveyard after beating Glumstone in Gnome Way Out and Mortimer Freeze in Snow Cult Scuffle. Alternatively, you go the other way round after beating the Moonshine Mob in Bootlegger Boogie and Ernest Winchester in High Noon Hooplah.

Once there, go to the top left to the graveyard, between the pine trees and towards the waterfall. Keep walking and you’ll move behind the main plaza. Keep going and eventually, you’ll find a single Gold Coin.

Each coin is highly valuable in Cuphead. Without them you might not be able to make the progress you sorely need. Coins help you buy an assortment of perks, charms, or shots that’ll be necessary and helpful to complete the game.

But be wary, you can’t get your coins back so be careful and don’t be too frivolous when at Porkrind’s Emporium. Buy only what you need, but also don’t be afraid to not spend at all. Some perks and shots are fantastic and make boss encounters so much easier. If you don’t already have Roundabout, one of the shots from the base game, you might want to get that now. Or, try some of the new shots and charms, and see which ones you prefer! There’s something for everyone.
