So, what are the best controller settings for Dead Island 2? Here are what worked best for us during our Dead Island 2 playthrough so you can become the ultimate zombie slayer. Let’s kick off.

What are the best controller settings in Dead Island 2? 

Dead Island 2 will see you wield a lot of different weapons, from machetes and axes to carbine rifles and handguns. You’re going to want a set up that allows for this variation but doesn’t faulter if you need to change weapon fast. To start with, we would put the sensitivity up, just because it starts off really low and feels quite lethargic. We would recommend increasing sensitivity to 4.0.

Elsewhere, the default button layout , which we have pictured above, actually works very well – it just comes down to personal preference. You can also invert the Y-Axis if you would like. If you’re really hardcore, you can even turn off the aim assist, or turn it up for a slightly easier experience. We would actually recommend turning it off, as it provides more of a challenge, and as Dead island 2 isn’t a particularly long game, this will make it last a few more hours.
