Whether it be for completing a seasonal challenge or you need to farm up some glimmer to fully meditate on all your fragments, sometimes you just need a spot to sit and farm kills in Destiny 2.
While the community used to have a spot in the Shattered Throne dungeon to farm kills, this has since been patched. Luckily there is still one more spot in Destiny 2 to easily farm up some kills.
Best Place To Farm Kills in Destiny 2
In order to get to the best place for kill farming, you will need access to Destiny 2’s 30th Anniversary pack. If you don’t have it, you can pick it up through the Armory bundle or buy it separately for the regular price.
Once you have the 30th Anniversary pack, you will want to go into the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. The spot we will be using to farm kills is the first section you come to in the dungeon.
This spot was formally called the loot cave in the original Destiny and it has made its return with Destiny 2. All you need to do is clear out the enemies outside of the cave, then sit and wait for more enemies to come spilling out of the cave to kill.
As long as you don’t complete the objective of this encounter, enemies will continue to spawn from the cave. Some wizards will spawn above the cave every once in a while, but they are quite easy to kill.
The kills you get from the enemies in the cave should count toward any seasonal mission you have. They will also count toward the catalyst objectives on exotic weapons, which makes this a great spot to farm those.
You can also come here to test out a weapon’s ad-clearing potential. There are plenty of god-tier PvE weapons that you can practice using with this loot cave encounter.
Finally, you can use this spot to see how well you can generate Orbs of Power. Since these are necessary for some builds, seeing how well you make them on a stream of ads is quite nice. This way you can fine-tune your build to be as effective as possible.
