The Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion will be releasing soon on February 28, and will bring loads of new content into the game. It’ll differ between devices, but we believe that the size will vary from 70GB to 110GB, available from 09:00 PST, 12:00 EDT, and 17:00 GMT on February 27th

Destiny 2 Lightfall Preload Date & Time
Preloading is a great way to play the games you love post update without having to wait hours for when it launches. By preloading, you save that time and instantly get stuck in.
You can preload Destiny 2 Lightfall on PS5, Xbox, and PC via Steam is 09:00 PST, 12:00 EDT, and 17:00 GMT on February 27th. This is ahead of the official February 28th release date.
Desriny 2 Lightfall File Size
Lightfall’s download size is going to be quite large. Despite this, Bungie revealed that players should notice improved loading times.
While they haven’t revealed the exact file size of the expansion, they have asked PS4 and PS5 players to have approximately 80 GB of free space before preloading for “an additional install package to be downloaded on top of the existing Destiny 2 ones.”
From this, we can expect the download size of Destiny 2 Lightfall to be around 70 GB to 80 GB for PS5 and PS4 players.
Based on this and the file size of the Witch Queen expansion, we can expect the upcoming DLC to weigh around 100 GB for PC, 110 GB for Xbox Series X|S, and 90 GB for Xbox One.
