With Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, we finally get the chance to face the mind control master and bearer of all secrets, also known as Savathun. There’s a whole new Campaign as well as fresh Strikes, and yet more loot for you to chase after.

What also comes in The Witch Queen is Season of the Risen which aims to work in tandem with the expansion to bring you Season specific gear akin to the same seasonal model we’ve seen for some time now.

Season of the Risen in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen looks to certainly mix things up for the franchise as you team up with teh Cabal to fight Savathun in her own Throne World. You won’t get the chase to challenge her right off the abt though, you’ll have to go through her specialized Lightbearers before that, overcoming their Super-like abilities.

The trailer showcases some new weaponry as well as a little look at the new Void 3.0 Titan barricade in which you can shoot over while also being somewhat shielded from incoming attacks.

How long is Season of the Risen?

The Season of the Risen takes place between February 22nd and May 24th making it approximately 2 months long. This will certainly allow you to have enough time for levelling up and pitting yourself up against those truly formidable foes in the new Raid experience.
