Now more than ever, players, fans, and potential purchasers are asking the question of is Diablo 4 cross play or cross platform.
With Diablo 4 launching in just a few days (6th of June 2023), but some with early access have already been able to enjoy the game. Still, fans are keen to try the game, but also know their options when it comes to cross play, and cross-platform gaming. And that’s why it’s so satisfying and awesome to report that Diablo 4 is indeed full of cross play and cross platform goodness.

Is Diablo 4 cross platform & crossplay?
In short, yes! It was confirmed that the that the game would feature cross play during Diablo 4’s slot in the Microsoft 2022 games showcase. Towards the 3-minute-mark of the presentation, one of the developers says:
“We’ve got fully-enabled crossplay. If you have an Xbox, and your buddy has a PC, you’re going to be able to team up”

And since then we know that you can do it across all the platforms, no matter where they are based. So you can play on a PC with someone on PS4 across the world.
Will Diablo 4 be cross play?
Yes, it has been confirmed that Diablo 4 will have cross-platform play. Diablo 4 players will be able to group up together with their friends, no matter their region or console. Not only this, but the game will also not be region locked, meaning you can play with people from everywhere in the world.
Will Diablo 4 be cross platform PS5 to PC?
Yes! It’s incredibly pleasing to know already, way ahead of the full release of the game, that we are going to be able to play with our friends and teammates across all platforms. That means Diablo 4 will be cross platform across PS5 to PC, and from Xbox to PC, and PS5 to Xbox too. Incredibly cool.
When can you start Diablo 4 cross play?
You first need to complete the Diablo 4 prologue and reach Kyovashad at the Fractured Peaks to unlock cross play. You will all have to achieve this so you can be ready to start together on the task. You will be limited to four players and can set it up in the game menu, or use the Battle.net launcher.
