While traveling the open world of Sanctuary in Blizzard’s latest release in the Diablo franchise, Diablo IV, there are a lot of crafting materials to gather. Like, a bunch of materials. One of the rarer materials you’re going to need is Abstruse Sigils for improving Legendary Jewelry. If you need to know how to get your hands on these Abstruse Sigils in Diablo IV, we’re here to tell you how.

Diablo 4 Abstruse Sigil – How To Get Them

Abstruse Sigils are rare items obtained from salvaging Legendary Jewelry. These are the items you can salvage at a blacksmith for Abstruse Sigils, and yes, there are only two:

  • Legendary Rings
  • Legendary Amulets

Any blacksmith NPC in the world of Diablo will be able to salvage a legendary accessory for you, so you don’t need to be in any specific region to do this; Fractured Peaks, Dry Steppes, Hawezar, Kehjistan, and Scosglen all have them.

Unfortunately, this is the only way you’ll get Abstruse Sigils, so these are one of the rarest crafting materials. They are, however, only used for upgrading other rings and amulets, so you won’t need them for anything like potions, elixirs, or incense.

You can unlock The Jeweler in Kyovashad at level 20, and from there take your Abstuse Sigils to him and he will upgrade Legendary Rings and Legendary Amulets for you to give your build the best gear possible and increase your item’s power so you have the best stuff for your arsenal.

Abstruse Sigils are particularly hard to come by due to only one way to obtain them, so your best bet in gameplay is just to play through the main quest. It will help you level up significantly faster and it’s the fastest way for encountering legendary armor and weapons along the way. Farming in dungeons for rewards can also be useful, especially in higher World Tiers or on Hardcore Mode where the enemies are stronger.
