How to trade in Diablo 4
To begin trading in Diablo 4, players can use the dedicated chat channels on Battle.net to find others who are interested in trading or browse through trade offers. Once they’ve found someone to trade with, they can follow these steps:
- Invite the player to trade by inviting them to your party, which puts both players in the same World State.
- Agree on a location for the trade, such as Kyovashad, the starting town.
- Open the action wheel and select “Invite to Trade” when close to the other player.
- Wait for the other player to accept the trade request.
- Add items to the trade window and finalize the trade by clicking the “Lock in Offer” button.
However, there are restrictions on what can be traded. Players cannot trade items that are currently equipped on their character, and they also cannot trade items directly from their Stash. If any changes are made to either trade window, the Lock in Offer button must be clicked again.
