Hellforge Ember in Diablo 3 is a consumable that arrived in the recently launched Season 25 of the game. It is a consumable item that can be used to upgrade Soul Shards.

How to find Hellforge Ember in Diablo 3

The Hellforge Ember will only drop while playing Season 25 and won’t transfer to any non-seasonal character when the season ends.

How to use Hellforge Ember in Diablo 3

Once you have Hellforge Ember in your inventory, select it to use and then select the Soul Shard you wish to apply it to. The upgrade will complete and the Hellforge Ember will be destroyed and disappear from your inventory upon completion, leaving you with an upgraded Soul Shard.

How to upgrade Soul Shards in Diablo 3

Simply follow the technique above to upgrade any Soul Shards you have in your inventory. Hellforge Ember is not a frequent drop, however, so don’t be thinking you will be able to upgrade every Soul Shard you have or get.
