We are starting to get pretty regular information on Diablo 4 now which is great. The developer’s quarterly updates are packed with info from the various four corners of the dev teams and often supported by a large raft of development videos as well.

With the game still quite some way out though we haven’t heard too much about the character classes for a while though until very recently. Three were initially announced way back in 2019 but now 2021 has seen the unveiling of the fourth class. So let’s have a look at the character classes in Diablo 4 and find out what we know, and what we can expect.

The Rogue
The Rogue is the newest to the line-up and offers a decent change of pace if you want a fighting character that offers a bit more variation than the pure melee style of the Barbarian. The Rogue is capable of using ranged weaponry as well as swords and daggers.

Diablo IV Character Appearance

In Diablo IV you will have a great deal of customization over your character’s general appearance, It won’t purely be tied down to your chosen class. We can also expect a complete choice of skin tones and gender.

For extra cosmetic changes, there will be the inevitable microtransactions, which will provide further, paid for, opportunities for uniqueness.
