Diablo Immortal Best Classes

The way we are going to do this is to profile a class for each section mentioned above. We will also list off a few honourable mentions, along with a snippet of why that is the case. To start us off, we are going with the best Diablo Immortal class for PvE DPS.

Best Diablo Immortal classes for DPS

  1. Demon Hunter
  2. Necromancer
  3. Wizard

Depending on your frame of reference, the three classes listed above are the best Diablo Immortal classes for DPS. The first on the list is Demon Hunter. The reason why is because this class has so many abilities that help her primary attack deal incredible damage. Therefore, she becomes the best single target DPS in the game, making her an ideal pick for ladder climbers, especially those focusing on single target bosses.

The core kit of the Demon Hunter is the Vengeance and Empowered Crossbow skills. Vengeance allows her primary fire to attack twice, while the empower adds even more damage and can allow them to penetrate foes for multi-target cleave. Add the two together, and you have several big damaged crossbow bolts going out every attack. Note it comes at a cost as the Demon Hunter is a high-risk playstyle, so you must learn how to position, avoid damage and minimize escape to optimize your big damage cooldown windows.

Next up is the Necromancer. The Necromancer offers both some strong single target and multi-target damage. The core build is all about your pets, allowing you to raise ranged DPS, melee skeletons, and a giant golem tank to taunt and stun things. This naturally means you have quite alot of damage as you flood the area with minions, and your legendaries can also empower their life, damage and even attack speed. This makes the summoner build a fantastic playstyle for plenty of DPS Situations.

Finally, we have the Wizard. The wizards have many different spell types, meaning there are many different builds. You can use ice pylons and lazer beams to do CC, single and multi-target damage. There are also the big burst builds, where you use Disintegrate and Meteors to do big burst damage to any enemy in their path. Overall, this class has lots of ways to feel like a constant and reliable DPS class in Diablo Immortal.

The best solo Diablo Immortal classes

  1. Necromancer
  2. Wizard
  3. Barbarian

As mentioned in the previous section, Necromancers have a taunt golem summon, along with a high DPS mage and many skeletons to attack your foes. Add in legendaries that increase their damage, and you have many minions under your command taking your foes on. It means there is not as much risk, and you can reliably deal with AOE and single target damage. Overall, the Necromancer feels like one of the best Diablo Immortal classes for solo players.

Next is the Wizard. There are many different builds you can use with the Wizard. Take the frost type spells for example. You can use these skills to inflict slows and stuns on your foes, along with the back hole spell to clump up enemies in certain areas. You can then use your big damage spells to then burst up clumped enemies and go on your wizardry way. Finally, the class has great mobility, with the teleport skill getting you out of your harm’s way if you want to use it. Overall, there are plenty of spells that are great for a solo player.

Lastly, we have the Barbarian. The Barbarian has one of the strongest AOE spells in the game with Whirldwinf. Not to mention the class is extremely fast. You should be able to get in and get out of combat as you need to, thanks to the speed of the class, and then chop down big packs of enemies with Cyclone. There is also your level 50 skill, Wrath of the Berserker, which grants lots of movement and attack speed for when you need some single target DPS too. There is even Undying Rage, which is a cheat death, and your damage heals mechanic, meaning even when you’ve bitten off more than you can chew, you’re still okay. Overall, the Barbarian has lots to offer players who want a sturdy playstyle, that has solid damage in both single target and AOE.

Best PvP classes in Diablo Immortal

  1. Monk
  2. Barbarian
  3. Crusader

The Monk is arguably one of the best PvP classes in Diablo Immortal, and for good reason. It is one of the only classes that get a guaranteed CC immunity spell with Shield of Zen. Once you know how most classes work, you can use this to negate the fairly limited CC most classes have, granting you a key advantage in PvP.

In addition,  Seven-Sided Strike makes you untargetable while you strike targets in the area seven times. You can use this to avoid key damage windows from your opponent. There are also many Monk skills that grant life shields, meaning you can sustain even more damage, such as your primary attack. Overall, the Monk is easily one of the best Diablo Immortal classes for PvP.

Next, we have the Barbarian. The Barbarian has a sprint skill to run at the target. You also have Furious Charge, which has stacks. You can use this every three seconds against your target to knock them down. Lastly, Undying Rage grants the Barbarian the inability to die while it lasts, and all damage heals for 30%. This class is easily a massive cheese and can reap havoc across the battlefield.

Finally, we have the Crusader. The Crusader is a really tanky class, which is hard to kill in combat, Not to mention that the Crusader, like the Monk, has damage and life shield skills embedded in one another. It makes the Crusader even harder to kill. They are also quite fast with skills like Drawn and Quarter, which mounts them during the channel, and they have unique spells which can daze, slow and charges that can stun foes. Overall, the class can easily lockdown opponents and make it hard for them to die. It is certainly a great playstyle hat that is relatively easy to pull off.

The best Diablo Immortal classes for groups

  1. Crusader
  2. Monk
  3. Barbarian

The Crusader is by the best class for groups in Diablo Immortal. The reason why is simply down to its party buffs. You have the Holy Banner skill, which offers the Crusader’s party bonus critical strike chance, but lowers the crit damage slightly while under its effects. Pair that with a Demon Hunter’s single target or a Necro’s undead frenzy and watch the damage go crazy. Then there is the Conjuration of Light skill, which makes it so your allies become immune to damage for several seconds. It can save the Demon Hunter who screws up their positioning or a Berseker that needs another cheat death, etc.

The Crusader can also take skills like Counterattack to deal cleave damage and gain a life shield, allowing her to tank. Add in some of the other stun mechanics like the shield charge, and the Crusader make a perfect tank and support character, which makes it easy to see why the Crusader is the best class for groups.

Next up is the Monk. Monks in PvE are largely damage dealers, with decent AOE spells. But, they also provide some great party buffs, like Inner Sanctuary, which reduces all damage the monk and its party take by 50% for eight seconds.  A Shield of Zen’s loss of control can also be placed on an ally too. There are also AOE damage skills like Wave Strike, Imprisoned Fist, Cyclone Strike, and Flying Dragon that deal great AOE damage and CC the target. It means you can easily party up with someone like a Barbarian or a Wizard to deal with some incredible AOE combos.
