One of Diablo Immortal’s main player progression systems is based on gems, sockets and items. As you play through the game, you find many ways of getting those items, one of which is the Diablo Immortal’s Hilts currency, which allows you to spend them on getting legendaries, crests, and other important items. Here is a closer look at Diablo Immortal Hilts and what purpose they serve.

What are Diablo Immortal Hilts?

Diablo Immortal Hilts
You can get 150 hilts through the free Diablo Immortal battle pass at pretty much every level.

Diablo Immortal’s Hilts is a currency that you earn via the free battle pass. As you play through the game, you get objectives that contribute to your battle pass progress. Most of the free levels of the battle pass give you Hilts, which is going to play a huge part in your progression. You can also pay for the premium pass and skip some progress. If you wish.

When you get Hilts, you can then use them to spend them on items at the Hilt trader. The Hilt trader is found in the top right corner of Westmarch city. Upon trading with the NPC, you can find a list of items you can buy with a weekly cap on how many of each item you can buy.

There is a general tab, which allows you to buy the same items, albeit some with weekly caps on how many you can buy. For example, you gain a random legendary item, or perhaps get yourself a legendary crest for use in the Elder Rift for a random character bound legendary gem. You can also buy normal gems, crests, reforge stones, aspirants keys and simple charms, items which typically are found in the premium battle pass.

If you are in the Immortal’s faction, a faction related to end game PvP, then you can get more items. These include Sigil of Dominance, an item related to the factions. You can also get another source of a random legendary, more crests, gems and more.

There is also a rotating shop which appears to be an extra source of crafting materials.

Therefore, all Diablo Immortal’s crest is a currency you get passively by playing the game. They help you get extra sources of legendary items, including pieces of gear and gems to enhance your build. You can also get gems to socket into your items, and more. It will be a vendor you naturally want to visit a lot.

As it stands, it seems that the free battle pass is the only way to get them in-game. There may be other ways in the future, but as of launch, there are no other ways to get hilts in Diablo Immortal.
