Diablo Immortal’s end game has quite a few activities for those shadows who are in clans. One of the features in the Cycle of Strife is the Shadow Waer, which is a weekly tournament event, which allows guilds to take part in several battles and make their way into the top 10 guilds of the week. Here is everything you need to know about the Diablo Immortal Shadow War.

Diablo Immortal Shadow War explained

One of the features of clans in the game is to take on other clans through the Shadow War tournament. The tournament offers players the chance to take part in clan v clan battles on specific days. All you need to do is enter the Shadow area, and the clan can sign up, through the clan leader. Once eligible, make sure your clan is online, which you can then organize and be available for when the match is scheduled to start er the allocated time and date on the UI.

Once it’s time for the battle, head over to the Rite of Exiles entrance and you can then sign up. You will then see a countdown till the time goes live, along with how many players from the clan are signed up for the main battle, alongside the following support battles.

The main battle is where your guild leader and some of the chosen members battle. Both clan leaders will be turned into avatars, which have their own abilities and are the main focuses for either force to take down. Whoever takes down the opposing team’s avatar will win.

Those who enter the support battles will need to beat their own challenges to grant their allies buffs. It can be bonus damage and damage reduction among other things. This helps your avatar stay alive in the main battle, which also helps fight off the enemies and players attacking it. We recommend coordinating with your clan beforehand, as the Rites of Exiles door lets you pick which battle to head in. You will want players in all three battles to benefit the avatar with support buffs. You can also have up to 30 players in each battle.

Once a winner and a loser are decided, they will then move to the next stage of the bracket. The winners will move on to the next round, in which they will face off against another clan on another day. The loser of the first round then moves to a loser bracket, facing off against the loser on the opposite side of the bracket. They will then fight to get the third playoff spot for that group. Once all groups send in the teams, there will be a new tournament format, which will then eventually crown the ten best guilds for that week.

Depending on where you finish, your character will get rewards based on your clan’s performance as long as you participate. You can get a variety of unique gear, currency, money, armor upgrade materials and more. So, this is certainly an event players should do to help improve their character’s progression in Diablo Immortal. Not to mention it is great playing with a clan and getting to see the PvP side of things.

This concludes this Diablo Immortal Shadow War guide. Hopefully, you now have a better idea of what to expect from the activity. So, bring your clan and go to war and get some nice progression items along the way. For more content, visit our Diablo hub.
