With that fans have seen about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom so far, one question has been raised about our Hero of Time, Does Link lose his arm? In many of the trailers, fans have been able to spot something a bit off about Link’s style. With the most recent trailer, we may have finally received an answer. Let’s go over if Link loses his arm in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Thanks to the most recent trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we believe that Link doese lose the ability to use his arm. During the trailer, we can see Zelda falling into an abyss while Link reaches out to save her. Paying close attention to his arm shows that it is corrupted in some way.

While this could lead to his arm being unusable, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it gets cut off. This could also mean the device on Link’s arm is used to seal away the corruption in some way. This device could be a manifestation of the Master Sword in some way or could be related to Fi’s power.

It has been confirmed that this device seems to be how Link uses his new abilities this time around. Making it a replacement for the Sheikah Slate from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. With all that power, there is no telling what more this arm could allow Link to do.

This is not the only character change that Link seems to have gone through, as the classic Hylian Shield seems to be missing. The Hylian Shield has always been paired with the Master Sword but fans have noticed a lack of it in the recent trailers.
