Does Link have companions in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
Link has never been one for having companions in the Legend of Zelda Games. Well, at least not any companions that help him. Over the years, he has had Navi, Midna, and more. You can even consider Epona a companion if you want since she appears in multiple games and accompanies Link.
Breath of the Wild introduced new characters to the world of Zelda that could potentially be Link’s companions in Tears of the Kingdom. After all, they appear to play a decent role in the game based on the trailer. There are also new characters that are making an appearance that could accompany Link through dungeons.
Based on a report from Kotaku about the leaks, Link will have companions for the dungeons. They stated that the companions will “each accompany Link through their local temple area.” If this holds true, we could be getting help during boss fights. Of course, take it with a grain of salt because leaks aren’t always genuine.
There are sure to be plenty of changes coming in Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo has already confirmed the existence of vehicle crafting in the game. The company has also shown off new abilities like Recall which lets you rewind time. Link will also be losing the Master Sword in some way.
