Dragonflight is almost upon us, and everyone wants to know the release time for the next WoW expansion.
This marks the eighth expansion for the game since it was initially released in 2004. The last expansion, Shadowlands, dropped in 2020, so people are champing at the bit for more WoW goodness.

WoW Dragonflight Release Time and Date
If you’re wondering when the Dragonflight release time is, then you’re in luck. We’ve got the info you need right here. As of right now, the expansion becomes playable at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET/11 PM GMT on 28th November 2022.
There’s a slim chance that Blizzard could push that release date or time forward a little, but it’s unlikely this close to the release day.

Unfortunately, since the game releases on a Monday, you’ll have to wait to finish work before you have a chance to play it. That is, unless you’re already planning on taking time off for the release day.
In the UK, It’ll be nearly the 29th before players gain access to the newest expansion, but it’s even worse in Europe, where it’ll be gone midnight before the game actually becomes playable.

WoW Dragonflight Pre Patch
If you’re really itching to start playing, then you’re going to want to pre-patch the game, so it’s ready to go when the new content goes live.
You can get your hands on the pre-patch right now if you haven’t already. To get the patch, launch your Battle.net launcher and check the area for World of Warcraft.

If you’ve not pre-patched, then you should be given an update/install button in the bottom left. Click that, and the game should update to include all the content you’ll actually need to play the game when the expansion drops.
If you already bought the expansion, then you can also redeem your code through the ‘redeem code’ function of Battle.net, which should prompt the update as well.
