Elden Ring looks to take all that FromSoftware has learned from multiple Dark Souls entries and take it that step further, creating a ‘super’ souls game that fans of the series will rejoice over. This encompasses brilliant world design, having in-depth lore into both items, weapons, and armor, as well as interesting NPCs.
However, the one main staple and something that most look forward to in all of FromSoft’s games is the sheer amount of bosses that are available to pit your skills up against. Usually, these bosses are along the traditional route of game progression and boy are there a lot of them. But, there are also secret areas in which players can simply walk right past and never encounter some of the best boss design in the game and this is especially true for Elden Ring due to its open-world nature.
Below, we’ll be going through all the bosses in Elden Ring so you know what you’re up against in the realm of the Lands Between.
Elden Ring bosses
As Elden Ring has had a few days of network testing, we’ve got a chance to experience some of the bosses that will be in the game come launch in February 2022.
The list of Elden Ring bosses below encompasses those that have the traditional Souls-like life bar at the bottom of your screen and leaves out the ‘minibosses’. These minibosses usually have a standard enemy life bar above their heads and even though they are mean foes, we wouldn’t consider them ‘boss’ worthy.
- Stonedigger Troll
- Margit The Fell Omen
- Burial Tree Watchdog
- Beastman of Farum Azula
- Flying Dragon Agheel
- Bloodhound Knight Darriwil
- Tree Sentinel
- Grave Warden
- Pumpkin Head
- Demi-Human Chief
- Lion Guardian
- Many Armed Key Master
- Soldier of Godrick
Each of these bosses has different fighting styles and will range in difficulty. To combat this, you Elden Ring players need to potentially switch up your loadout and even your movement, getting your horse into the action to add a little swiftness.
As Elden Ring releases, we’ll be sure to update the above list so you can be informed as possible on the number of foes you can expect to come up against. Additionally, you’ll also be able to use it as a tick list to ensure you won’t miss a boss on your playthrough.
