Elden Ring Vagabond class – items, weapons & everything you need to know
An in-depth look at Elden Ring's Vagabond class, pros and cons, starting items and everything you might need to know.
We think the Vagabond will be a popular class with players starting out in the game. It offers a well-rounded alternative to a class such as the Warrior. The Vagabond is an all-action class. You won’t be tossing spells and magic around here and the easy mix of strength and vigor, as well as decent health, mean that most of Elden Ring‘s weapons and armor will be available to you as you progress.
The Vagabond is unlikely to be built into a particularly strong magical character – that should not be the intention, although, like most things in Elden Ring, it is possible if you are prepared to put the effort in. Rather you should invest your time in building your melee combat skills and putting to good use the strong baseline stats you get with the Vagabond.
Again, not an overly intelligent class, the Vagabond is still stronger in this department than other fighting characters, so at least you do have a few options.
If you are looking for a solid hand-to-hand- type character and want to veer away from the standard Warrior build, we think the Vagabond gives you a bit more leeway to develop a build that is a bit more unique to the way you may wish to play.
Let’s now take a closer look at all the Vagabond’s baseline stats and starting equipment to arm you with as much knowledge as possible for the journey ahead.
