Elden Ring’s open world is a vast, enticing space, full of places to explore. And tucked away in the Lands Between are a number of small, intricate hidden dungeons. Finding those dungeons can be difficult so we’re here to set you on the path to find the Stormfoot Catacombs.
How to find Stormfoot Catacombs – Where to begin?
At the beginning obviously. Once you arrive at the Church of Elleh head northwest instead of following the guide of grace. Head up the hill, take in the beautiful view and notice a strange statue of an old man with an elongated neck and a small candle in your hand.
You can also see the First step from here so it is very close to where you start. Simply interact with this statue and you will see a guiding line. Similar to the ones from the lost grace but a greenish-blue instead. Following this line straight to the Stormfoot catacombs will result in you having to deal with a tricky dungeon that should you need some help with you can check out our guide to the dungeon here.

As you can see on the map it is very close to where you start. The Church to the right and the First step a bit further back. This just shows how easy it is to stumble across little adventures in the brilliant world of Elden Ring. Simply going left instead of right can lead you to a whole new dungeon with secret treasures just waiting for you to find
The way into Stormfoot Catacombs.
Still struggling to find what you are looking for? Follow the line from the statue all the way to the top of that hill. The entrance is still slightly hidden and it is underground somewhat. Look for a part of the ground that gives way to a cave in the cliff face. There you should see a door, congratulation you have found the Stormfoot catacombs.
Now you are here get ready for a tricky dungeon with traps, hidden monsters, and a unique boss. It is all worth it however, as said earlier if you find yourself struggling with this dungeon we have a guide for it to help you on your adventures. You can totally do this dungeon before leveling up for the first time so don’t feel like you have to skip this over until you find out how, unless you want to level up that is.
