EA has yet to release any details regarding the career mode for the new FIFA 23 game. That said, FIFA leaker ‘DonkTrading’ reckons 16 new national teams will become available come the FIFA 23 launch.

All 16 of the national teams that are being claimed have all recently qualified for the FIFA 2022 World cup – starting on Monday the 21st of November. You can read more about FIFA 23 Career Mode right here.

What we do know is that just like in the last game, there will be a ton of young talent available on Career Mode – so we take a look at what wonderkids you should have on your radar.

These predictions – so the below players could well score higher when FIFA 23 launches.

Here’s who we think you should be keeping an eye on:

  • Marcus Pedersen (OV 73 – POT 84)
  • Florian Wirtz (OVR 82 – POT 91)
  • Jude Bellingham (OVR 84 – POT 90)
  • Ansu Fati (OVR 79 – POT 90)
  • Eduardo Camavinga (OVR 77 – POT 89)
  • Pedri (OVR 85 – POT 92)
  • Jesus Ferreira (OVR 73 – POT 84)
  • Jamal Musiala (OVR 78 – POT 89)
  • Youssoufa Moukoko (OVR 70 – POT 89)
  • Yeremy Pino (OVR 79 – POT 88)
  • Gavi ( OVR 77 – POT 89)
  • Rayan Cherki (OVR 74 – POT 88)
  • Noah Mbamba (OVR 64 – POT 87)

With how growth currently works in the game though, you can get pretty much any youngster to exceed their potential massively. It’s certainly better this way, now there is much more flexibility than before with how far you can take certain players.

It can go a bit too far though. For example on the last FIFA I managed to get Lamptey to a 99 rated right-back. He’s definitely good, but this may be a bit too far.

Manager mode

FIFA 23 will likely feature a manager mode that sees players take control of an existing team and take them to the top of the league. You can read more about FIFA 23 Manager Mode right here as well as rumours that you’ll be able to play as real life managers in the upcoming game.
