French striker Olivier Giroud has been around the Premier League block a few times and picked up a lot of fans along the way, scoring vital goals and generally being the type of massive workhorse that football fans love in their team.
Equally legendary is renowned FIFA leaker FUTSheriff whos now telling the tale that the Frenchman is set to get a stat boost in the coming weeks in the shape of a new Moments card.
What are Moments cards in FIFA 22?
Moments cards are occasionally awarded to iconic players to celebrate a specific career highlight. It will be interesting to see what standout moment is celebrated here. Giroud was an unused Chelsea substitute in last year’s Champions League Final against manchester City, so I guess we can rule that one out.

Giroud’s biggest failing on his current card is his awful sub-40 pace – to put that into perspective, my own pace in real life is 44. Put Olivier Giroud and me over 100 meters and it’s not going to be the big Frenchman taking the gold. As yet Giroud hasn’t received a card in FIFA 22 so it will be really interesting to see what EA does here. Surely they can’t whack his pace up phenomenally? He was never the fastest striker after all, being more of an aerial predator. No doubt, assuming the leak is true, we will find out soon enough.
