EA Sports has announced that the FIFA 22 Team of the Year awards are back. Players quill be able to vote for which football players deserve to make their way into the FIFA 22 Team of the year promotion.

This year, there are three key dates for the FIFA 22 Team of the Year Awards. Starting from January 7, 2022, fans will be able to see the most deserving attackers. Moving into January 8, the nominees will open for the Midfield players who deserve the award the most. Finally, on January 9, the nominees will get revealed for the defenders that may earn the right to make it to the Team of the Year Allstars.
The exact time the nominees will unveil themselves occur at the same time. The times these nominees reveal is a 08:00 PT, 11:00 ET, 16:00 GMT, 17:00 CET on each of the key dates. It is expected there will be a total of 80 nominees unveiled throughout the three days reveal period.
Once when the full FIFA 22 Team of the Year players are revealed, January 10 will allow fans to vote for their favourites. The voting process kicks off on January 10 at 08:00 PT, which means British fans can vote from 16:00 onwards, with EU fans from 17:00, depending on nationality. Only 11 of these 80 players will make it into the 11 FIFA 22 Team of the Year promotion.
Once we know the final 11 o the FIFA 22 Team of the Year promotion, we will likely get them in packs, along with other SBCs, and other event themed content. The NHL recently concluded its NHL 2022 Team of the Year event, which brought special ratings of these players to commemorate the event.
