As we near the end of the current FIFA title, Ultimate Team begins to get pretty wild. The main cause of this is the FUTTIES event, it is traditionally the last event on Ultimate Team, afterwards the game will wind down in anticipation for FIFA 23

What to expect

The event is set to release on the 15th of July and is rumoured to run for a breathtaking five weeks. This is a whole two weeks longer than it was in FIFA 21, so we could be in store for some pretty special cards.

If it is anything like last year, there will be new content daily via SBC’s and objectives, as well as a re-release of some of the best cards in the game. FUTTIES always causes the market to crash, most players drastically drop in value. By the end of this event everyone’s team will look different.

FUTTIES voting

Voting is a huge part of FUTTIES, all you have to do is choose a player from the free packs they give out, and then that card will re-released with a huge upgrade as an SBC. If you log on to FIFA 22 now you should already have a player vote ready and waiting.

When you log in you will have a free pack, this pack is a player vote. The players are Liverpool’s Luis Díaz, Chelsea’s Kai Havertz and Manchester United right back Aaron Wan-Bisssaka.

There are also other bonuses sometimes too, for example the winner of the current FUTTIES pick, will also receive five star weak foot to accompany their boosted stats.

Keep an eye out in the next few weeks on SBC’s and daily drops as you may find the card you’ve been waiting for.
