It’s live, we now know all of the player ratings in the game.

After much anticipation we finally know some of the player ratings for FIFA 23. As of 4:00pm on the 12th of September, we found out everything we need to know regarding the top 23 players in FIFA 23.

There are a few surprises in there. It also wild to think that there is not a single player above a 91 rating in this years FIFA with Messi, Neymar and Lewandowski all receiving significant downgrades.

FIFA 23 Ambassadors

We also found out what ratings the ambassadors of the game have received.

This includes some heavy hitters like FIFA 23 Cover Star Kylian Mbappe, South Korean super star Heung-Min Son and tricky Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior – who has received a very healthy upgrade. 

Over the course of the week, we should find out the best players in the game.

Mbappe FIFA 23 Rating

PSG Striker Kylian Mbappe, will remain one of the highest rated players in FIFA 23 boasting a 91 overall.

We are still unsure what rating Messi and Lewandowski will be, but rumours point towards Mbappe being the joint highest rated player in the game.

There are no really surprises in the Premier League ratings list, although there is certainly an argument that Raheem Sterling is a bit hard done by after having two whole ratings reduced.

Joao Cancelo is also a noteworthy addition to the top Premier League players. In FIFA 23, he is now the highest rated full back in the Premier League, and potentially the whole game. Much like last year, Manchester City will remain the stand out Premier League club and the addition of Erling Haaland has only further cemented that.

Van Dijk FIFA 23 Rating

It also looks like Liverpool defender Van Dijk will remain the highest rated Centre Back in the game.

Van Dijk is set to receive a +1 to his overall, while also receiving a good boost to his pace. Expect him to be one of the most expensive players on offer in FIFA 23, as he is a must have for any defence. 

FIFA 23: Who are the best La Liga players

After long periods of not getting the recognition he deserves, Karim Benzema finally joins the the top tier players in the game. He received a +2 rating to reach his new overall of 91.

Newcomer to the league, Lewandowski is the same rating as Benzema, although he has rather harshly been dropped down a rating since FIFA 22.

Similar to Benzema, another player that has received a well deserved boost after their stand out performances last season is Brazilian Winger Vinícius Jr. His boost of +6 puts him right up the list, rubbing shoulders with some of the very best in the league.

Who are the best Ligue 1 players

After what can only be described as poor season by his own lofty standards, Lionel Messi is no longer clear of any other players in the game, or even this league. His teammate, and FIFA 23 Cover Star, Kylian Mbappé is the same rating as him.

Just by looking at the table below, it is pretty easy to see who is the best team in the division. There is only one player not from PSG in the top ten players in the league. It once again looks like FIFA 23 will be a race to try and get as many of the PSG squad as possible.

If you’re lucky enough to pack Kylian Mbappé early on, then you will be set up for the rest of the game and the same can be said for Neymar Jr. and Messi too.

The best players in Serie A

Serie A is always an incredibly fun starter league on FIFA and FIFA 23, will be no different. The ceiling for top tier players may be pretty low, with no one a higher rating than 87.

The reason why this league is such a good place to start, there are so many options and all for great value. Especially now players like Lukaku and Pogba have returned to the league.

The Surprises

The biggest surprise in these list may be Havertz and Pulisic. Despite how good they are, and the quality they have shown in the past. Yet, they were not at their best last season so it is a surprise they haven’t had a slight ratings reduction. 

Neymar Jr. may also feel hard done by. It is the first time since he moved to PSG that he is under a 90 rating, after he received a -2 on FIFA 23. Robert Lewandowski is the same too, he had an amazing season last time out but still received a -1 to his overall.
