With FIFA 23 set to release next week, attention is shifting to the FIFA 23 Web App – and what sort of rewards and features it’ll have.

As Ultimate Team grows, the tools, support, and features grow with it, so we fully expect to see some changes to the Web App from FIFA 22, as well as some updates to the Companion App.

FIFA 23 Web App – when will it be released?

FIFA 23 will be arriving on September 30 – however you can access the games Early Access from September 27.

The Web App app itself is set to go live on September 21st, with the Companion App set to release a day later.

FIFA 23 Web App – What time does it release?

We are still not 100% sure on what time it will go live but if it is anything like the rest of their content we should expect it at 18:00 BST, 10:00 PT and 13:00 ET.

Here’s how last year’s Web App rolled out, as per the EA website.

• September 17, 2021 – FUT 21 Web App goes offline.
• September 22, 2021 – FUT 22 Web App comes online.
  • If you’re a returning FUT 21 player with an account in good standing, this is when you can start using the Transfer Market.
• September 23, 2021 – FUT 22 Companion App launches.
  • This is your chance to update your Companion App on Android and iOS.

FIFA 23 Web App – How to login

When the app goes live, it will enter the early access phase, and there is a criteria to be met, as stated by EA, these are:

• You must have created a FUT Club in FIFA 22 and logged in to FUT 22 on your platform before August 1, 2022, to be eligible for early access to the FUT 23 Web and Companion Apps.
• Your FUT 22 account must still exist.
  • That means if you’ve deleted your Club, you won’t be able to get an early start.
• Your account needs to be in good standing.

In order to login you just need to type in FIFA 23 Web App, once it launches, then login using your EA Sports login. Then you will be in, sometimes there is an extra authentication step.

FIFA 23 Web App – expected features

The Web App tends to stay quite similar year on year, so we’d expect to see similar features from the FIFA 22 Web App.

Some of the features we’d expect to see include:

Style your stadium

One of the first things you can do in the web or companion app is name your Ultimate Team but it doesn’t end there. You can select club cosmetics, such as kits and your stadium of choice.

Opening packs

Players can use Coins or FIFA Points to open packs when the game is officially launched and when it comes to buying packs this will be reserved for those who pre ordered but again, you are going to have to wait for launch with packs.

You will also be able to buy and sell in the transfer market via the apps.

Rewards & competitions

Through the app, you can claim rewards from your progress in the Weekend League, Division, Squad battle, and FUT events.

You are also going to be able to redeem those rewards through the app, meaning no matter where you are, you won’t miss out.

Returning user rewards

If your account is in ‘good standing’ then you may be eligible for rewards. This is based on your player history, engagement, and account status, which differ from person to person.

Will EA prevent access to the FIFA 22 Web App when FIFA 23 is released?

EA stopped access FUT 21 on the Web App after September 22, 2021.

This has happened once again, with the app down until it is updated on September 21, 2022.

When will the FIFA 23 Companion App release?

We can expect the Web App to release on the 21st of September, while the Companion App will be a day later.

What happens to the FUT 22 Companion App

Unfortunately, the new app replaces the old Companion App.

Can I use my FIFA points in the FIFA 23 Web App?

Unfortunately, no. EA themselves have stated that you cannot transfer over your FIFA Points from the Web App (unlucky!) nor the companion app.

The only way you will be able to transfer your points unfortunately is through the console and PC ports, this however means you’ll have to wait until at least the 27th!

Does iPhone have a FIFA Web App?

Yes. The FIFA Web App is available for Android and IOS mobile devices and tablets.
