FIFA 22, had some exceptional keepers and going into FIFA 23, that should remain the same. Keepers can often be a bit hit and miss on FIFA, but there is no denying that some are better than others.

Some of the top keepers in Europe last season continued to show their quality and why they’re considered the best around. While others re-found some of their best form, and continued to develop.

Who will be the number one, Number 1 in FIFA 23?

Here’s who we think will be the best keepers going into FIFA 23

The biggest ratings boost going into FIFA 23, is surely going to be Thibaut Courtois after his incredible campaign for Real Madrid last season. He won Man of the Match in the Champions League final. He played like he had a point to prove last season, and he certainly proved it. It seems like FIFA will recognise that too.

Mendy and De Gea should also be set for boosts, but for different reasons. Mendy continued to show why Chelsea took a risk on him the year before, once again proving he is one of the best shot-stoppers around. Whereas De Gea, was once again back to his best despite Manchester United’s poor season.

Marc-André ter Stegen, looks like he won’t be a 90 again going into next FIFA 23, after what was a poor season. He looked calamitous at the back for Barcelonal last season, and underperformed his xG against for the third season in a row, letting in goals he should have saved.
