Final Fantasy 16 will release on June 22, 2023, and many gamers want to know if it will be on the Game Pass. It has been eight long years since the franchise’s previous installment and FF fans are eager for a reunion on their preferred platform. Through various trailers showcasing magic and incredible gameplay, its clear fans will be in for a treat! So, follow this guide to find out whether the Final Fantasy 16 game will be on Xbox Game Pass.

Will Final Fantasy 16 be on Game Pass?

Unfortunately for many fans of the Square Enix franchise, Final Fantasy 16 will not be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Final Fantasy 16 is a timed exclusive that will release on PlayStation 5. As a result, the Square Enix game will not be released to various consoles, such as Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Switch, for at least six months; it will remain a Sony console exclusive during this time.

Throughout Final Fantasy’s 35-year history, plenty of Final Fantasy titles have made their way to other platforms, including an MMO PC version such as Final Fantasy XIV. As a result, many gamers are expecting something similar; unfortunately, it will be a six-month-long wait.

Final Fantasy 16 is about Clive Rosfield and his quest for revenge on those who have killed his younger brother Joshua. Along with him on his journey will be his childhood friend Jill Warrick as the two travel across the world of Valisthea. In recent years, tragedy has struck all those within the realm using the Mothercrystal. During their journey, the two will uncover secrets with the help of Cidolfus Telamon, also known as Cid, and a good boy named Torgal; together, they will rid the world of the dominance of the crystals.

We imagine it will be a very requested game for Game Pass.
