You may think canceling your Final Fantasy XIV subscription will be a bit intimidating. After hours of gaming online, you might want to end your subscription if you have completed all quests and no longer wish to play the MMO. So, follow this guide to find out how to cancel your Final Fantasy XIV subscription.

How do you cancel your subscription to Final Fantasy XIV?

To cancel your Final Fantasy XIV subscription, go to the Mog Station website and access your Square Enix account. Like subscribing to a Final Fantasy XIV MMORPG, canceling your subscription is easy if you know the proper steps. Follow the step-by-step guide below on how to cancel your subscription.

1. Log into your Square Enix Account Management System 
2. You must then select Mog Station
3. Enter your login details 
4. Select your Account
5. Click on Service Account Settings. 
6.  Under the Service Account Status, select Cancel Subscription to cancel your reoccurring subscription.
7. You can then click on Next to confirm your selection.

Now that you have been able to cancel your FFXIV subscription, you may be wondering if there is a way to confirm the cancellation of your subscription or retainer service. To do this, go to Service Account Status. Here you can see your game time depending on the remaining days left on your billing cycle. If your game time has expired, it will say inactive.

How to do a subscription renewal for Final Fantasy XIV

 Though you canceled your FFXIV subscription, you may still have some remaining days to play. However, you may regret your decision and decide to renew your subscription. Thankfully, newing your subscription is as easy as canceling it!

1. Log into Square Enix Account Management System or Mog Station
2. Select Your Account, or Manage Service Options 
3. Go to Subscription Renewal and select a payment method – Credit Card/Crysta Payment or Add GameTime Card.
4. Select Next to confirm.

Now, you can go back to exploring the online world of Endwalker or Stormblood, whichever expansion you choose to purchase!
