FM22 is the latest entry in the Football Manager series, and further refines the depth to the decision-making and simulation elements of the most prestigious sports management gaming franchise.
This year there are two versions of the game, FM22 and FM22 Xbox. Football Manager 22 is the standard PC Football Manager experience, while Football Manager 22 Xbox is an alternate version that will let you transfer your progress between your Xbox console and any Windows 10 PC seamlessly with Xbox Play Anywhere.
FM22 Xbox is also Smart Delivery enabled, meaning that you’ll just download the best and most appropriate version of the game depending on which Xbox console you’re using at the time.
So will Football Manager 22 and Football Manager 22 Xbox Edition be on Game Pass at launch?
Both FM22 and FM22 Xbox are going to be available a day earlier on Xbox Game Pass. If you want to play them and have an Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can pre-load them now and be ready to go on November 8, 2021.

What is Football Manager 22 Xbox?
Football Manager 22 Xbox is a specially crafted version based on the FM Touch series for Android and iOS phones. It is specially ‘tailored for console’ and has been designed around using an Xbox controller. You’ll be able to play FM22 Xbox on both PC and Xbox consoles, but there’s no controller support (at least at launch) for FM22 Xbox on PC.
