Genshin Impact 2.3 Banners

In the first half of the Gwnshin Impact 2.3 update, you will find that the wish system includes the following wishes. Albedo Secretum Secreorum and Eula’s Born of Ocean Swell is coming first in the wish system. This wish system is for newer players who missed out on these characters in previous seasons. Not to mention, the upcoming Shadows amidst Snowstorms features these characters, among other Mondstadt expeditionary characters. So, the wishes for 2.3 feature important characters in the storyline. Also, characters like Albedo are geo focused, which plays a major feature in the new banners in 2.3.

In the second half of the 2.3 season, the wish system will add a new event, the Oni Royal. The Oni Royal features the wish system for the players looking to get the special themes for the new characters: Gorou, and Arataki Itto.

Arataki Itto: Genshin Impact 2.3 banner

Arataki Itto got an in-depth preview during the 2.3 announcement stream. The character is a Geo elemental character, which wields claymores. The core of the character’s design features a four combo light attack, with every second and fourth attack granting a special strength mechanic, which enhances your damage on your attacks.

Moreso, his elemental skill allows him to summon a bull sidekick, which deals geo damage. Ushi is the name of the bull, and he grants you stacks of special strength when it takes damage, and it ensures that happens by taunting enemies for you. When Ushi’s summon runs out, or the bull dies, you will also gain another stack of special strength.

The other skill he has is his weapon turns into a giant mace. Every first and the third attack grants a special strength stack. Meanwhile, he loses some of his elemental and physical protection but he gets bonus defence and attack speed bonuses in compensation.

Who is Arrataki Itto voiced by?

The western voice over for Arataki Itto is by Max Mittelman.

Gorou: Genshin Impact 2.3 banner

Gorou Genshin Impact

Gorou is another of the next Genshin Impact banners coming in 2.3. The character is a bow weilding geomancer, and his story is based on being a general of Inazuma. The character’s basic attacks are nothing special. However, the key to this character is his buffs to geo allies in the party.

One skill seems to place a golden ring in a radius around Gorou. The skill foes AOE geo damage and sets up a war banner in an area. The war banner provides buffs to active characters based on the number of party members in the Geo element.  Having one Geo character in your party grants defence buffs, two grant resistance to interruption, while a third adds damage buff to geo element members of your party.

Forward into Victory is another one of your skills. You will create a field called general glory, which provides buffs to characters according to the number of geo characters in your party. The field follows Gorou no matter what direction he moves around in, which is a nice touch for fighting big bads. A talent also increases all defence to the party who is inside the circle. Another talent increases the burst based on the character’s defence. As you can see, there are quite a few builds you can use on this character.

Seekers of Shinies – Talent displays nearby resources unique to Inazuma whole Gorou is in the party. So, if you like open-world farming, especially in Inazuma, you might like this character.
