In the newest Genshin Impact Event, Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog, players must rescue dogs and other cute little creatures from warrior dogs (which are adorable, by the way) and thieves. In the Place of Interest: Den of Thieves, you must defeat all the thieves in the camp in order to free the stolen dogs from their cages.

How to rescue the dogs in the Den of Thieves

Firstly, you’ll want to go to the Place of Interest – in this case, it’s the Den of Thieves which is marked on your map. See below for the exact location.

Once you’re at the Den, it’s time to take out the thieves! At first you’ll need to defeat a handful of Nobushi, but after you take out the first wave, reinforcements will appear. You’ll need to take out more Nobushi and two Kairagi before you’re able to rescue the dogs.

If you’re having trouble defeating the thieves – which is understandable, given how bulky they are – a good way to take them out is to lure them into the nearby water to apply Hydro to them, and then follow up with Elemental attacks such as Pyro, Cryo or Electro to deal extra Elemental Reaction DMG. Just be aware that if you attack them with Electro, you will get electrocuted in the water, so remember to bear that in mind.

Once the thieves are out of the way, all that’s left for you to do is interact with the two cages, and voila! The dogs will happily trot away, tails wagging, and if you go into the event’s menu you’ll be able to collect your reward of 60 Primogems, 30000 Mora and 4 Hero’s Wit. Not a bad day’s work, all in all!
