The New Zealand trick is only possible on Xbox systems, and cannot be replicated on a PlayStation system. The only way you can even come close to replicating a similar trick is by actually purchasing the game on an account that was created using a New Zealand email address, and the sunk cost fallacy by that point likely means you might as well have just waited to play the game as you normally would.

What Is The New Zealand Trick?
The New Zealand trick refers to the practice of changing your system clock to New Zealand’s local time. Due to the sheer time difference between basically every timezone and New Zealand, it unlocks games early on Xbox systems.

The issue with PlayStation systems is that the system time is hardcoded into your account region. So if you register using an account based in the United Kingdom, then you’re going to be based in that timezone, making the New Zealand trick fundamentally impossible to do. If the game was released across multiple different platforms then you may have been able to, but as it stands God Of War Ragnarok is a PlayStation-exclusive title, only available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
