Gotham Knights is almost here. Soon we’ll get to see if Batman’s successors can live up to the legacy of the Dark Knight. Gotham Knights is a saga of a near-shattered Batfamily, dealing with cleaning up a lawless Gotham following the death of Batman.

As opposed to other Batman games of late, Gotham Knights expands the game’s focus beyond the caped crusader himself. Switching control between four prior Robins. Tim Drake, Jason Todd, Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson are all present, trying to carry on Bruce’s Legacy in their own ways with their own particular skillsets. Players will be able to choose between vastly different combatants, all with their own individual crime-fighting style. Soon you’ll be able to see for yourself how this unique new Batman saga unfolds…

Gotham Knights release on October 25th if you’re interested, and there was some new content shown off during the Summer Game Fest 2022 broadcast. In fact, the trailer for the game is up over on Keighley’s Game Awards YouTube channel. If you’re keen to give it a watch, the content is up there. The main gameplay trailer focuses on Nightwing, who is trying to save Gotham with a significant lack of Batman by his side. There’s also some content for batgirl, robin, and there appears to be some form of coop drop-in and out gameplay. But, for Nightwing itself, there are features of some grappling, projectile firing, and the usual martial artist action.

If you like what you see, then pre-orders are live and there are some other bonuses for those who pre-order too.

It is also worth stating that pre-orders are now live across all major gaming platforms. Those who do pre-order will get access to the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin which is based on the vehicle from the DC’s Detective Comic #233.
