Halo Waypoint Beta
Last Updated:

Halo Waypoint is the online Halo community tool filled with forum posts, Halo customization and the source of getting into Halo game betas. With the announcement that Halo Infinite is launching on December 8, players can get the opportunity to playtest the game. If a said player gets a beta invite, they can get the upcoming Halo Waypoint beta.

The Halo Waypoint beta is a new app launching for Halo Infinite. The Halo Waypoint beta is a companion app similar to what other games do, such as FIFA. You can go on it and see your Halo Infinite stats, customization options and other goodies. As yo=u can see, this will be a nice feature, but it still needs testers. If you want to learn how to get the Halo Waypoint beta, we will show you below.

How to Get the Halo Waypoint Beta

Firstly, if you want to get the Halo Waypoint beta, you need to sign up for the Halo Waypoint flights. The flights are 343 Studios way of getting those interested in the game the opportunity to sign up to any future tests and betas for any Halo game. If you manage to sign up correctly, you may get an invite to the Halo Infinite beta, such as the Multiplayer Technical Test.

Once when you’re all signed up, check your Halo Waypoint web browser’s direct messages. It is worth mentioning that if 343 selects you for a Halo Infinite test invite to any Halo betas, you get flagged to download the Halo Waypoint beta.

How to Download the Halo Waypoint Beta

Once you receive an invite for one of the various Halo Infinite betas, you become eligible to download the Halo Infinite beta app. It does not matter whether you use the Windows Store, Android, or iOS. All you need to do is download the Halo Channel app (which doesn’t work, by the way).

Once when you have the Halo Channel app installed, you can try to log in. It more than likely won’t do anything since the app is no longer supported. All you have to do now is wait, and your preferred devices app store should eventually update the app to the Halo Waypoint App. If it doesn’t automatically update it to the beta app, then you’ll need to find it on your platform respective store page, and press “get the beta version” or another appropriately named button.

Once you have the beta version, log in with your beta approved Halo Waypoint account, and you should be able to test the Halo Waypoint Beta. If you have any issues with getting the Halo Waypoint Beta, check these forum posts to see any troubleshooting methods for Android or iOS.

The app should leave beta when Halo Infinite launches on December 8.
