Blood for Blood is a side quest in Horizon Forbidden West that involves Dekka and Kavvoh, who are two of the most interesting NPCs in the game. Dekka wants to find and convince her grandson Kavvoh to come home after he joined Regalla’s rebellion. It is up to Aloy to go convince Kavvoh to return. Completing the quest rewards players with 4,750 XP, two skill points, one perimeter Tripcaster, and 1 Tenkath recon.

How to Complete Blood for Blood in Horizon Forbidden West

To complete the Blood for Blood side quest, players need to complete the main quest “The Kulrut.” Once you progress through the campaign and unlock the side quest, head to Dekka in the Hillcrest. She will tell you that her grandson has gone missing and it is up to you to find him.

Follow the mission objectives and find the rebel camp where Nakkalla was tied to. Players can track down some enemies and listen in on the conversation with their Focus to get hints. You will also find some blood that you can examine to get more mission pointers. Once you examine all the clues in the area, examine the hatch and you will run into a dead end.

Travel to Fall’s Edge and talk to Dekka once again, after which you will need to head to the nearby camp. After fighting the rebels who ambush you, follow Kavvoh and kill the rebels and their machine. Talk to Kavvoh and Arkehh to get some mission dialogue. Once the conversation ends, head back to Dekka to complete the quest and redeem your rewards.

The quest’s recommended level is 19 and you should complete it to get some much-needed skill points. It is important to get as much XP as possible in the early game to make your experience a lot easier in the late game missions.
