Horizon Forbidden West has finally arrived and if you have the deluxe edition or you pre-ordered the game, there are some special outfits waiting for you.
How to unlock pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses
If you preordered the game, you will get access to the Nora Legacy Outfit and Spear. These are also available in the Special, Collector’s, and Regalia Editions of Horizon Forbidden West. The more expensive editions of the game also come with the Carja Elite Behemoth and Norra Thunder Elite outfits as well.
All of the special outfits should be visible as separate downloads when you install Horizon Forbidden West. If you claimed the outfits on your PlayStation via the Store and got an error, there is nothing to worry about. Even if Sony throws an error at you, all of the fancy cosmetics will remain intact and you will be able to claim them in-game regardless.
After booting the game, make sure that you complete the Prologue, before which you will not be able to claim the items. Once you are done with the Prologue, head to any of the cities in the world of Horizon Forbidden West. The location does not matter as all cities have a Stash that you can access to redeem the armor sets.
The easiest city to go to after the Prologue is Chainscape and you should see a Stash waiting there for you. Head to the Stash and you will be able to access all of the pre-order bonuses as well as the Deluxe items. The best part is you do not need access to your Stash to change your outfits. Once you redeem all of the special outfits, you can equip them anytime you want from the inventory menu.
