The Embassy is one of the main quests in Horizon Forbidden West and unlocks after To The Brink quest completion. It has a recommended player level of 7 and involves Aloy traveling to Barren Light after clearing the Daunt.

The Embassy also unlocks side quests in Chainscrape and opens up trading with merchants.

How to Complete The Embassy Quest

There are two weapons you should pick up before you start the objectives in The Embassy. First, collect the Shock Warrior Bow from the Daunt Hunting Ground. This weapon is free to pick up. The second weapon you should collect is obtained through an errand ‘A Bigger Boom’. You’ll be able to pick up the powerful Prototype Spike Thrower here – both weapons will play a part in The Embassy.

Start by traveling to a Charger site located south of Chainscrape, and hide behind tall grass. Here you’ll see a machine that’s easy to override from behind. Now that you have a mount, head to Barren Light and speak to Commander Nozar

After a cutscene, Regalla’s rebels attack, and Aloy must fight them to take down the leader clan. This fight can get tricky since archers cause a lot of damage, and the best strategy is to take cover in the archway. You can either fire the Chargers with Shock Damage or use Fire Attacks on the Chargers Blaze Cannisters to cause an elemental explosion. This is a great opportunity to use your Shock Tripcaster

Now Aloy faces off against Regalla’s champion. Scan the champion to find the weak points, and use Acid and Shock damage targetted at his shield to deactivate it. The champion uses fast-paced melee moves, and it’s best to keep a good distance away from him. Try flanking your opponent when his back is turned for quicker damage.

Aloy is granted the Shieldwing and can now travel through the Daunt. The mission ends here after a cutscene.
Successfully completing this quest gives the player 3,500 XP and two skill points as well as a Carja Blazon Face Paint. The next main quest in Horizon Forbidden West is Death’s Door.
