The sequel to the beloved Guerilla Games‘ Horizon Zero Dawn is out, having been released on February 18th 2022. 5 Years after the first game, the Action RPG saw a thrilling adventure and story in a post-apocalyptic war that saw humanity in a more primal and tribal state fighting against deadly and dangerous animalistic machines. Players take on the mantle of Aloy, a hunter who sets out into the world to prove herself to her people as a hunter.

Although the first Horizon Zero Dawn game was initially a PS exclusive, it was later released on PC platforms. So naturally a lot of fans of the game are beginning to wonder if Horizon Forbidden West will also be released on PC.

Sadly, fans won’t be able to get a PC copy of Horizon Zero West on PC anytime soon. Instead, the game will be released for PS4 or PS5 only. The original Horizon Zero Dawn came to PC in 2020, more than three years after its original PS4 launch. So although it’s possible that the sequel will be on PC, it won’t be anytime soon. And anyone who’s interested in playing the game sooner rather than later will need to get it on either the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.

While it is possible that the game will come to PC, it might not be for a while. Considering the last port to PC was three years after its last release.

Although this might come as a disappointment to some, it’s worth noting that the PS5 version of the game is stunning, the console is able to fully render and do justice to the beautiful and highly immersive post-apocalyptic overgrown wilderness.
