While many Valorant fans are ready to start their journey to the poor league with the Premier system, they will have to wait a bit longer for the full release. However, they can get a trial of the system with the upcoming beta for Premier. Let’s go over how long the Premier beta will be available in Valorant.

How Long Is The Premier Open Beta In Valorant?

Overall, the Premier open beta will be around from April 25 until May 23. However, the time is broken up into three different sections: sign-ups, weekly matches, and the final tournament. This is a bit quicker of a Premier timeframe than the Valorant Devs designed the mode around. A normal Premier timeline should stretch for a whole Act upon full release of the system.

The sign-up period will run from the beginning of the beta on April 25 until April 28, giving you just a few days to sign up and get a team together. Joining into the beta is quite easy, but you will need to find a full team before the end of the sign-up period.

After that, you will be assigned weekly matches to play beginning on April 29 and running through May 20. While the current setup of matches is unknown, it seems to be a system where you will randomly match with anyone in your team’s division.

The official FAQ recommends getting your weekly match done as soon as possible during the week to prevent your team from being unable to find an opponent and being kicked out for not playing a match that week.

Finally, we have a big tournament for the winners of the divisions. This will take place on May 21, just before the end of the Premier beta. This will most likely work similarly to the weekly matches but with your opponent being decided beforehand.

This does mean you might need to set up a time to play your match with them. However, that is only a concern if you manage to make it through all the weekly division matches and reach the end.

With the end of the beta, we should see the Premier system fully rolled out quite soon. It seems this is a gauging period to see how many players will want to take part in the system and if it will be popular enough to continue.
