As you’re eying up installing the new RE4 remake, you will be wondering about all the factors with it, such as asking how many GB is Resident Evil 4.

Originally on the Gamecube and out in 2005, there is a bit of a difference now with the newer version of the game. Improved graphics, and more with more integrated features, it does increase the size of the installation.

So with that, if you’re running low on storage, it might be key information to find out the size of the game.

As of yet, there is no information on the PC front on the size of the game. But there is a demo and even for a short preview it does require some size on your storage device.

And so once installed the Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo takes 10.31 GB of space on our SSD. This is still a large amount for a short length of demo and shows the bigger fidelity of the textures increasing the size to install.

The file size has in fact got a number available on consoles. It is available to preload at Xbox with the size available to see on the store.

And on the Xbox store, the remake is 67GB for the Xbox Series X and S. And although that might just be for the Xbox, it is likely to carry over to the rest of the other options.

So if that does in fact carry over to the rest, then you want a good amount of space cleared out for it. Especially if any patches come out that might even increase the size further.

Once the game is out, we’ll be sure to update you on what to expect on installation. And that will come on the day of the 24th when the game releases.
