There are plenty of puzzles for you to solve as you make your way through the Resident Evil 4 Remake with many of them blocking your way forward. The bindery puzzles is one of the many puzzles you need to solve if you want to get through chapter 8. To solve it, you must pick up lithographs and place them in the correct spots to open a door which is much easier said than done. Here is how you complete the bindery puzzle in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.

How to complete the lithograph puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake

The bindery or lithograph puzzle makes an appearance in chapter 8 of the game. Shortly after the chapter starts, you will have a run-in with Ada in a small room. After this brief cutscene, you will see a door with three open panels. One lithograph will already have been placed in it. To solve this puzzle, you must first locate the other three lithographs that belong in the panels. These lithographs can be found in the following areas:

  • Lithograph Stone B: On the bookshelf to the left of the puzzle door.
  • Lithograph Stone C: In the back of the room on a table near the door you entered from.
  • Lithograph Stone D: In the cabinet to the left of the windows. You must smash the glass to get it.

After collecting the lithographs, place them in the panels on the door.

To solve the lithograph puzzle, you need to match up the symbol on the lithographs with the ones on the panels. Each lithograph has two sides; one with an octagon and one with a square. These match up with the symbols on the panels. Place them in the following order:

  • Left: The lithograph symbol must be a red helmet in an octagon.
  • Top: The lithograph symbol must be a red shield in a square.
  • Right: The lithograph symbol must be a black sword in a square.
  • Bottom: The lithograph must be a black suit of armor in an octagon.

If done correctly, the panels on the door will match the ones in the image above. Before progressing forward, you may want to stop at the merchant and update your weapons since many more battles and puzzles lie ahead.
