Just like in Breath of the Wild, you will need to complete many shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each shrine that you complete will get you a Light of Blessing, a necessary item to increase your health and stamina.

With there being over 100 shrines in the game, it won’t be easy to complete them all. One of the more annoying of these puzzles is the Ihen-a Shrine. This guide will show you how to complete the Ihen-a Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to solve the Ihen-a Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

After entering the shrine, you will be in a room with some floating Zonai Devices that look like stone slabs. There are three of them in the room with one being on the floor. Use your Ultrahand to take hold of the hover stones and use them to create a staircase to reach the top of the platform in front of you.

Hitting these stones will cause them to fall. If you need them to float, make sure the Zonai Device is activated.

Continuing on, the second room of the shrine has a large chasm. If you look to the right, you will see a metal grate. You will also see another hover stone. Hit the stone to activate it and use the Ultrahand to lift the metal grate and fuse it to the stone.

Place the new contraption over the chasm and use it to cross to the other side. Once across, use the Ultrahand again to move the metal grate and use it as a bridge to reach the top of the platform on the other side.

As soon as you enter the third room in the shrine, hang a left. You will see more hover stones and a ledge. The ledge has a chest filled with treasures. To get the chest, use the Ultrahand to move the hover stones. Link them together to form a bridge to reach the chest.

With the chest out of the way, it is time to solve the final shrine puzzle. Use Ultrahand to move the hover stones over the chasm in the room. Don’t connect them together but leave them close enough that you can jump to each.

Fuse the ball in the room to one of the stones. Start making your way across. Once you reach the final stone, grab the platforms and use them to continue the bridge until you reach the other side. Unfuse the ball from the hover stone and place it in the divot. The divot will glow, opening the door to the end of the shrine.

The Ihen-a Shrine is one of the many Shrines you will encounter as you complete the main quest of the game. It is located to the west of Zora’s Domain. You will spot this shrine when you reach the top of the Ploymus Mountain where Sidon is located. This shrine makes for a great fast travel point during this quest and later as you explore Hyrule.

Specifically, this shrine is located in the Lanayru section of the map. Coming from Lookout Landing, you will head east. The shrine itself has sludge covering the entrance. Use a Splash Fruit to get rid of the sludge and gain access to the shrine.
