The Ishodag Shrine is a Shrine of Trials in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is located in the Akkala region, on the Akkala Great Plateau. To complete the shrine, you must solve a series of puzzles involving fans and a lift.
How to Complete the Ishodag Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (Windy Device Puzzle)
To summarise, here is how you can complete the Ishodag Shrine Puzzle:
- Use the Ultrahand ability to move a fan near the edge of a platform.
- Hit the fan to activate it and jump into the air current.
- Use your paraglider to reach the higher area.
- Attach a fan to a plank of wood and use it to cross a pond.
- Attach two fans to a movable platform and activate them to turn it horizontally.
- Ride the air current up to a chest and an opal.
- Hop back down and attach two fans to the bottom of a lift.
- Jump into the elevator and turn on the fans to reach the final room.
- Activate the shrine statues to collect your reward.
The Windy Devices shrine puzzle is simple but requires the paraglider to reach higher areas. First setting foot into the shrine you’ll see a Zonai Fan setting on the ground nearby a raised area. Use your Ultrahand ability you got from the Ukouh Shrine to lift and move the fan near the edge of the platform. Activate it by hitting it with a weapon, then jump into the air current, and bring out the paraglider to ride the air up to the higher area.
From here you’ll run to the next area where you’ll find a plank of wood, another fan, and a pond. Attach the fan to the piece of wood using the Fuse ability you get from the In-Isa Shrine on Great Sky Island. Turn on the fan and ride the raft across the water. Once you reach the other side of the pond, you’ll find two more fans, a movable platform, and a lift.
Attach two fans to the platform and activate them to turn it horizontally revealing a chest on top. Take the third fan off of the makeshift raft and place it along the wall nearby the lotus emblem on the floor. Ride the air current up with your paraglider to get the chest and an opal. Hop back down to reach the final room.
Back on the ground, grab two fans and use Fuse to attach them to the bottom of the lift. Jump into the elevator and turn on the fans. The lift will rise taking Link to the final room where you can activate the shrine statues. Collect your Light of Blessing reward and you’ll be teleported out of the shrine.
Where is the Ishodag Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
The Ishodag Shrine is located just west of the Quarry Ruins. Its exact location is -0882, 0421, 0049 on the Sheikah Slate map. The ruins can be found west of Hyrule Castle Town Ruins. The shrine is glowing green and has a long trail of magic coming from the top of it.
