The sequel to the smash hit The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is here with Nintendo’s latest release for the series in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. New story, new weapons, and new shrines await Link as he journeys across Hyrule again to save the world. New shrines mean new shrine puzzles, and if you’re getting stuck in them we’re here to help. Here’s how to complete the Mayausiy Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to beat the Mayausiy Shrine in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Once you enter the shrine, there will be two block formations; the completed one on the left, and the unfinished one on the right. There will be two pieces you can pick up with Ultrahand that will fit into the unfinished formation. Use these pieces to make the same shape the finished one has, a perfect rectangle.
You can then enter the next room, where you will have to fight a Zonai Construct with a flamethrower. After taking him out, move forward and two more block formations will appear. Use the three pieces to the left to once again mimic the finished formation on the right. Think of it like Tetris blocks. Once completed, Link can collect the Light of Blessing.
There is a treasure chest located on a platform in the final room with the last puzzle. To get it, do this:
- Pick up the block pieces with Ultrahand
- Form a staircase with the pieces
- Climb up the stairs to the chest
Inside will be a Large Zonai Charge. After opening the chest and receiving its sweet reward, you can then unfuse the block pieces to finish the shrine’s puzzle and collect the Light of Blessing.
Where is the Mayausiy Shrine in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The shrine will be located inside of the Forgotten Temple, in the gorge East of the Tabantha Snowfield. The coordinates are -1165, 2602, -0083. Once you paraglide down to the entrance of the Forgotten Temple, just make your way inside until you find Impa. She will be standing right next to it.
