If you want to increase Link’s power, you’ll need to complete shrines found throughout Hyrule. One shrine you’ll come across is the Sinakawak Shrine and it can be quite challenging to solve as it uses a unique puzzle mechanic. If you’re struggling with figuring it out, here’s what you need to know to get through to the end.

How to solve the Sinakawak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

To complete the Sinakawak Shrine you’ll need to use hot air balloons to raise a ball from one area to the next. The first room you enter includes three wooden planks, a few balloons, a torch, and braziers. Use the Fuse ability you gained in the In-Isa Shrine to attach a wooden platform to a balloon. Then grab a brazier and fuse it to the plank of wood. The flame will cause the balloon to rise into the air, so you’ll want to hop aboard quickly or attach the brazier once you’re in place.

The next area includes more balloons, braziers, and a locked door. Grab a balloon with the Ultrahand ability you learned in the Ukouh Shrine and place it directly adjacent to the door. Then place a brazier near the balloon and it will raise to hit a button that unlocks that door so you can enter the next room.

The third and final area requires a bit more strategy. This room contains a plank of wood, many balloons, braziers, and two different-sized balls. Your goal is to reach the upper floor above you. To unlock the last door you’ll want to focus on the small ball near the hole in the wall. Attach the ball to a balloon and use a brazier to raise it into the air. Then run into the hole and use Ascend to reach the upper area. Grab the ball and place it into the slot on the floor. This will open the door to the statues where you’ll get the Light of Blessing. However, there is a treasure chest you can grab before leaving.

Jump back down to the bottom floor and you’ll see a hidden area on the right side of the room where the large ball is. Attach two balloons and braziers to the ball so it can be lifted to the upper area. Grab the ball and drop it into the large hole to open a door to the chest containing an Opal.

Activate the statues to gain a Light of Blessing and you’ll be teleported out of the Sinakawak Shrine.
